The Aisha AED Initiative (AAI) is a group set up as a subcommittee of the Balbriggan Community Council. Our message is that it only takes four steps to save a life and our slogan is ‘saving lives one shock at a time’. Our mission is to bring together communities in all their diversity, around the goal of saving lives through high-quality CPR and early defibrillation.

Aster is a Family Resource Centre based in Balbriggan. We offer a number of services including Family support, preparing for life & household assist programme. In the FRC we run different groups such as parent & toddler, pre-teen, parenting programmes, women's DIY and Household Assist drop in clinic

For the past 45 years, the BDHS has provided the town of Balbriggan with historical lectures on various topics related to Balbriggan and the surrounding areas.
It has given geneological advice, exhibitions, pop up museums, commemorations, walks and talks to the people of Balbriggan and all in contact with the society, in an inclusive and positive environment.
